Ok, I admit I have been so totally missing in action lately and I’m so sorry I haven’t posted anything crafty lately! The honest truth is, I haven’t really made anything crafty lately, much to my disappointment. And here are the reasons why…first of all I decided to take a break over Christmas just to enjoy some down time with my friends and family. I so enjoyed the simple joys of Christmas this year, just reflecting on all of the many blessings God has bestowed upon me in my life. Even though we sometimes don’t have all that we hope for or because God hasn’t worked out every little aspect of our lives like we are praying (and believing ) that he will, there is still so much to thank him for.
Also, this is my crazy, unbelievably busy time at work due to working on end of year closing. While I’m used to this being an accountant, this year has been even more challenging due to our whole office flooding in August which caused us to loose tons of critical paperwork and also add in an audit on top of that. So I have been working late every night and on Saturdays. There goes my craft time .
However, this weekend is my little sister, Ashton’s (ok, she’s not really my little sister but she might as well be!) Sweet 16 birthday party and I plan on making her a banner and some other cutsie decorations and I promise I’ll share. I hope everyone is doing well and that you are having a blessed New Year!
